Stuart was a partner in law firm private practice in the UK for most of his professional career before moving into corporate life, first as General Counsel with a FTSE 100 company and then moving to a business role as an executive director at a FTSE 250 technology company. He later moved to the academic sector where, among other things, he was Executive Director and Fellow of the Center for Professional Service Firms, Said Business School, University of Oxford.
