Trademarks

At NDQ, we also have great depth of experience prosecuting trademark applications to registration in the United States and around the world.  We give great consideration to the appropriate jurisdictions in which our clients' marks need protection.  We file trademark applications either directly in the US or using the Madrid Protocol for other jurisdictions, and we coordinate with local counsel in other jurisdictions as necessary.  We also manage our clients' portfolios of registered trademarks and make the filings necessary  to maintain and renew existing trademark registrations.  We also regularly record assignments and other documents affecting ownership of the mark, and facilitate the same in other jursidictions.

Mirroring our approach to patent prosecution, we apply our litigation perspective to the trademark prosecution process, taking care to understand, consider and protect our clients' interests and goals.
