Warren Pinkerton serves as the Chief Strategy Officer of the firm where he assists the Management Committee and Partnership in identifying, capturing, and executing strategic growth opportunities and initiatives. In this role, Warren leverages firm resources and competencies for the development of existing and emergent practices across the national platform.
Additional duties and responsibilities include monitoring attorney and practice performance metrics - time-entry, billables, collections - as well as enforcement of firm policies in support of client satisfaction and firm performance.
Finally, Warren oversees the firm's Marketing, Branding & Communications function(s), ensuring managerial coordination and integration of these functions with the firm's strategic and operational priorities.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pinkerton was a Partner of Risk Operations for Middle East/Africa at BerkeleyDG, an international risk consultancy, where he led consulting teams in identifying and mitigating socio-political and culture risk exposures to clients engaged in some of the world’s most turbulent, but growing, emerging markets.
Previously, Mr. Pinkerton served as a consultant and advisor to the US Departments of State and Defense in various locations in the Middle East and Africa. He started his career as the Director of Innovation Initiatives within the Corporate Strategy function of Sears, Roebuck & Co in Chicago, IL, where he managed and directed teams engaged in organizational strategy, competitive strategy, and innovation capture (product & process).
