S. Peter Konzel’s practice is primarily concentrated on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a number of technological fields, including mechanical, chemical, communications, electromechanical, optical, and nuclear imaging arts. Mr. Konzel also conducts patent analyses and opinion-type work and assists with ex parte and inter partes reexamination type proceedings as well as IP litigation.
Prior to joining Novak Druce + Quigg in 2005, Mr. Konzel was a practicing patent attorney in Western, New York where his practice concentrated on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical, electromechanical, optical, automotive, and biotechnological fields.
Mr. Konzel served his country as a member of the U.S. Army during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm and was Honorably Discharged in 1991. He is a recipient of the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Good Conduct Medal, and other awards related to his military service.
