Michael P. Byrne’s practice focuses on patent litigation, prosecution and reexamination. Mr. Byrne also has extensive industrial experience, having spent three years as a process/quality engineer at a private chemical company specializing in coatings for architectural, industrial, and electrical applications. His responsibilities included not only designing new equipment and performing economic analyses, but also managing the implementation of all capital projects.
Mr. Byrne holds an LL.M. degree in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from The George Washington University Law School, and a J.D. degree from The Duquesne University School of Law, where he was a member of the Duquesne Law Review. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, where his course work included an additional focus on polymer science and polymer processing.
