Marylauren N. Ilagan assists with the firm’s Patent Prosecution and Post Grant Law/Patent Reexamination practice groups.  She has experience in the technologies of fluid mechanical systems, including oil-field devices, pumps, fluid treatment systems, and engines, biomechanical devices, manufacturing devices, construction equipment, consumer products, handheld communication devices, telecommunications systems, electrical control systems, user interfaces and computer software.

While in law school, Ms. Ilagan interned as an in-house patent law clerk at various New Hampshire corporations.  Her clerkships focused on the areas of patent and trademark prosecution, copyrights, IP portfolio management, trade secrets and litigation, and IP licensing. 

Ms. Ilagan earned her J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center (now the University of New Hampshire School of Law) in Concord, NH and her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on thermodynamics and fluid mechanics from Rice University in Houston, TX.
