Margaux A. Aviguetero is a member of the firm’s nationally recognized Post Grant Law/Patent Reexamination Group as well as the Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Aviguetero focuses on inter partes and ex parte reexaminations of patents as well as multi-party patent litigations. Her technical expertise includes biotechnology, chemistry, microbiology, computer software, network architectures and computer hardware. She also has significant experience in intellectual property, general civil, and business litigation in both State and Federal Courts.
Ms. Aviguetero's experience includes litigating patent and trademark infringement cases in several district courts, including the Northern and Central Districts of California, the Southern District of New York, and the Western District of Missouri. She has also litigated multi-defendant patent infringement cases in the Eastern District of Texas. Through her litigation experience, Ms. Aviguetero has managed and participated in all aspects of a case, drafted patent licensing agreements, and has counseled her clients through mediation and settlement.
