Kenneth P. Van Wyck is a registered patent attorney with over thirty-six years of intellectual property experience in government, corporate, and law firm practice. He has extensive experience in U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, protection of trade secrets, copyright, licensing of patents, copyrights, technology in complex matters and has experience with interferences in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Van Wyck's experience also includes the handling of numerous due diligence investigations, the negotiation of hundreds of acquisitions and mergers, counseling senior management on intellectual property issues, and supervising complex patent and trade secret litigation. He has over twenty-five years of corporate practice including over fourteen years as Chief Patent Counsel for a Fortune 50 international chemical, food and consumer products company.

Mr. Van Wyck's fields of technical expertise include chemistry and the mechanical arts, including industrial resins and adhesives, ultra violet curable coatings, inks, foundry resins, oilfield chemicals, polymers, and various food technology and chemical agents, detectors, protective devices, processes and apparatus therefor.

Mr. Van Wyck began his career as a Patent Examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office handling food technology and chemical engineering processes. He then served as a patent agent and attorney handling patent preparation, prosecution, and government research contracting for the Department of the Army's Chemical Research laboratories at Edgewood area of Aberdeen Proving Grounds Maryland.

Mr. Van Wyck has been registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since 1974. He also formerly was a member of the Columbus Ohio Intellectual Property Law Association and the IPO international practice committee.
