Justas Geringson’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, patent reexaminations and litigation. Mr. Geringson has served as counsel for a wide variety of high technology clients, ranging from large multinational Fortune 100 corporations to venture funded startups and individual inventors. He has experience in managing a number of international patent portfolios and regularly provides legal advice with respect to a full range of intellectual property protection strategies, including procurement, licensing and enforcement of patents both within the United States and abroad. Mr. Geringson’s practice is specifically targeted at understanding the client’s technology and providing legal advice tailored to the particular needs and requirements of its business.
Mr. Geringson has represented companies involved with computer architecture, hardware and software, including web services and service oriented architectures, cloud computing, enterprise systems, application servers, middleware, databases, e-commerce, networking, data searching and indexing, global positioning and mapping systems, business processes, telecommunications, service access gateways, smartphones and smartphone applications, various mechanical and electronic devices, integrated circuits and semiconductor devices, radio frequency identification (RFID) systems and many other technologies. Before joining the firm, Mr. Geringson was an associate attorney at Fliesler Meyer LLP in San Francisco. Prior to practicing law, he has worked in the high tech industry as a software engineer.
