Jeffrey H. Kamenetsky’s practice focuses on counseling clients in patent prosecution, trademark, and litigation as well as inter partes and ex parte reexaminations. He also has significant experience in dealing with international disputes related to the import of products into the United States and a significant portion of his practice includes undertaking studies and drafting legal opinions regarding patent validity and infringement.
Mr. Kamenetsky’s broad patent prosecution practice encompasses a wide variety of technologies and his technical experience includes medical devices, telecommunications, electrical and communication equipment, Internet, consumer goods and computer-related technologies.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Kamenetsky worked as an electrical engineer for the United States Air Force and a manager in industry. A past President of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida, Mr. Kamenetsky is an active member of the International Trademark Association and the Florida Bar Association. Mr. Kamenetsky has been selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® from 2008-2012, has been named a 2011 Florida Super Lawyer and Florida Monthly Magazine has named him one of the Top Lawyers in Florida.
