Henry A. Petri is an Associate Chair of the firm's Litigation Practice Group and focuses on patent litigation and licensing.  Mr. Petri is experienced in developing litigation strategy for both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement cases, preparing witnesses and experts for deposition and trial testimony, and conducting all phases of discovery, pretrial motion practice and trial.  He also has extensive experience in appellate matters and counseling clients regarding intellectual property licensing.

His technical experience includes semiconductor process technology, chemical processes, remote sensing and data storage systems.

From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Petri served as the law clerk for Judge Marion T. Bennett, Senior Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  Mr. Petri is a member of several professional organizations and is a former member of the Board of Governors and Chair of the Rules Committee of the Federal Circuit Bar Association.  From 1999 to 2002 Mr. Petri taught the Patent Litigation course as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas.
