Gregory M. Lefkowitz is experienced in traditional IP matters, including, patent procurement and litigation, trademark procurement and litigation, protection of trade secrets, and copyrights. Mr. Lefkowitz's experience in procuring patent protection includes inventions in the areas of chemistry and materials science, mechanical engineering and biotechnology, including resorbable biocements; cosmetic compositions; chemicals exhibiting desirable flavors and fragrances; extruded olefinic foams; chromium oxide bulk material; monolithic micromachined tri-axial accelerometer; method & apparatus for sensing nitroaromatics; chemical mechanical polishing of electric circuits; turbine engines; tool heads with indexable cutting inserts; control devices for surgical lasers; derivatized agarose gels and support structures for electrophoresis; multi-frequency microwave-induced thermoacoustic imaging of biological tissue; and frameless stereotactic guidance of medical procedures.
Mr. Lefkowitz himself is a co-inventor of three U.S. patents developed during his employment as a research scientist for a major consumer products company. His current patent prosecution clients include several univerisities, laboratories, one of the largest flavor and fragrance corporations in the world and a major cosmetic corporation.
