David Shen is an electrical engineer and attorney in the firm’s patent litigation, patent prosecution, and reexamination practice groups. He has significant technical experience with analog and digital electronics, computer architecture and networking systems, computer software, nanocomputing, and also biotechnology.
In undergrad, Mr. Shen was a member of Bio-inspired and Nano-scale Integrated Computing (BioNIC) Research Group, where he conducted research in the field of nanocomputing. In law school, his focus was patent law and intellectual property. He was an active member of the school's Intellectual Property Law Association. He has now integrated his electrical and computer engineering expertise and his legal experience in the area of patent law.
Mr. Shen is also fluent in Mandarin and Shanghainese Chinese.
