Brad Woodcox focuses on business development, strategic analysis, and technical analysis for the firm. His specific duties consist of corporate and industry analysis; valuation; and technical analysis of innovations and intellectual property, including prior art research. He also manages the startup client sector for the firm, where he assesses business plans, directs negotiations, and advises on strategic planning and business development.
Before joining Novak Druce, Mr. Woodcox worked at a variety of companies from independent consulting to large corporations to helping start a company that raised venture capital investment. He has extensive experience working with and developing medical devices, including working as a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer at Boston Scientific Corporation, where he focused on design, testing, and product development of medical devices. He also served as Design Engineer at the founding of venture-backed startup company, Stamper Medical Technologies, Inc. where he focused on the creation of innovative medical devices.
Mr. Woodcox earned an MBA with distinction from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, where he focused on business development and finance. His prior graduate and undergraduate studies were completed at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where he earned several awards including top mechanical engineering graduate, top biomedical engineering graduate, and highest GPA in the graduating class.
